Took a little break from electronic music for a quick minute..but I guess being in Florida for summer time spurred a revival. Anyway check out these summer pool side goodies
(no mini preview player right now. it’ll be back soon.
Breakbot - Baby I’m Yours (Aeroplane Remix)
Breakbot + Pool + Champagne = you won the money
Has everyone gone disco?
Arabesque - In the heat of disco night
I’m sure by now you all have heard ‘I think I like it by Fake Blood’. After doing a little lurking I came across the actual song he sampled/remixed. It’s from the Germany and Japan music charts of 76’ and never made it to U.S. Personally I like the original better in a way…
This song is kind of irrelevant to this whole disco pool vibe post but whatever. It’s definitely an unappreciated one from Rusko. Not gonna lie but this sounds like something i’d hear outside my window on bedford & North 3rd at 5 in the morning from a cadillac with speakers outside the car. Something about it makes me want to rage though
It’s really been a while since i’ve used this. I’ve been preoccupied with other things lately..getting ready to move to NYC in about two weeks. Anyway thought i’d open it up with some tech house for y’all.

Silvio Ecomo & Chuckie - Moombah (Afrojack Remix)
Here’s an old one with a some of that wobble everyone loves added in there.
Trouble Andrew - Chase Money (The American Dream Team REMIX)
I can’t stop listening to anything Nu-Disco. The next few tracks are on the top of my “Nu-Disco Chart”.
Sebastien Tellier - Kilometer (A-Trak Main Edit)
Veronicas Veil - Fan Death (Erol Alkan Rework)
Marilyn Manson, I’m not sure what it is about his music that really freaks people out. When they hear the sample from this song they pretty much lose it. Between the irony of hearing it at a club and surprise, it gets people up on the floor. Sebastien Leger did a great job with this one and kept it dark, just how you would expect it to be. The Eric Prydz edit made it more upbeat, something about it reminded me of Party Monster a little.
Sebastien Leger - The People (Eric Prydz Remix)
I can’t help but get excited for WMC this year, not to mention the amazing line up for Ultra. I just looked at the flyer really quick and noticed they’ve added Bloody Beetroots & MSTRKRFT to the line up! In case you’re wondering how epic it should get; I’m picturing something along these lines..
Anyway could someone please get me this? You plug it in and it mouths the words to whatever song you have playing. I don’t care how pointless it is, I need it.

Moving right along we have this track by a dj duo known as The Eternals. It’s got a groove-factor that’s way off the charts. Give it a listen.
The Eternals - A1 Wrath Of Zeus

This has been on my personal “top charts” recently. Who says i’m not allowed to have my own?! Every time I listen to this I can’t help but picture someone playing some crazy bamboo/PVC pipe instrument. You can’t tell me these don’t sound alike.

A semi-fresh one off the notorious Hotfingers label. They never cease to amaze me. The horns definitely make this song.
Manuel De La Mare and After Tea - This is Warming Up
A little harder than the rest of the songs on this post. If there’s an “electro banger” of this bunch it’s this one.
MOVE IT MOVE IT MOVE IT
Lazaro Casanova - Venganza (Felix Cartal Remix)

A truly classic track. If you don’t like Disco, you don’t like me.
If that one song by Calvin Harris and Micky Avalon had a baby; this would be the result..
Micky Gang - I was born in the 90’s
Big song build ups really drive a crowd nuts. The longer you can push it and keep that build up going the more intense the results. Add a little vocal sample to hype everyone up even more and you have this song from Proxy. Which if played at the right time should be a real crowd pleaser.
Here’s a prime example of the results of this song being played during a Boys Noize set during WMC this year.
I’ve been showing a lot more appreciation towards progressive house music. Not just because it’s so minimal, but for the overall build up it has throughout the song. Just heard this track by Don & Palm from Sweden. Good stuff.
Don & Palm - Addicted (Original Mix)

I can’t stop listening to this song. Think of it as a warm up..
Empire of the Sun - Walking On a Dream (Van She Tech Remix)

Let me explain the lack of updates here. I’ve been so busy lately with school, finals, finishing my portfolio, etc..that I haven’t had time to post anything for you guys to rage too. Now that Winter break is here expect it to be back on track. Anyway i’ve been doing a lot of parties and events usually weekly now, feels good. And to top it all off I should have Serato by the end of the month!
Here’s a big Electro track submitted by two South Florida DJs that go by the names Daltn and Diego De La Vega. If you’re a fan of MSTRKRFT or Laz Casanova, I highly recommend you listen to this.
DALTN/DDLV - Not Safe for Work
I feel as a DJ it’s always good to switch it up a little and play something a little different that you normally wouldn’t play. Even though this song isnt too different, the vocals totally make it stand out. There’s some pretty good build up put into this one as well.

I’ve been waiting what seems like years to watch this. In reality it’s probably been about a month. I know I’m not the only one that was waiting for this highly anticipated documentary to come out. More or less, it’s a day in the life of Justice. Definitely worth watching.
A Cross The Universe - Justice DVD
EDIT: DivX may be needed!
These are the best words I can really think of to describe this. Builds up with more and more until finally. Guaranteed to get anyone dancing.
Mike S vs Ed Mission - Its Your Bitch (Original Mix)
Miami is really blowing up this weekend. Tonight i’ll be seeing Franki Chan and The Toxic Avenger on the iheartcomix tour. And Tomorrow I’ll be seeing Crookers. I’m really stoked for it all.
I’m not going too lie, but I sadly saw pulp fiction for the first time last week. I now realize why it’s such a classic movie. Now that I got that out of the way here’s the new song. Just give this one some time and it may surprise you. Definitely some good stuff. Check out more by Foamo here.
Alex Reece - Pulp Fiction (Foamo Rmx)
This one is really classic from the first listen. Just work with me for a second, picture yourself driving in a convertible trans-am through Las Vegas. Really enjoyed the ambient sound they added. Easily one of my favorites from KTN.
VEGA - All Too Vivid (Kill The Noise Remix)
..Means rage time, and by that I mean go nuts. Hopefully everyone is doing something fun this Halloween wherever they are. I decided to dig for some “Halloween” style tracks.

The First song that popped into my mind was that OH SNAP remix of Crookers. I don’t mean to give Crookers any more praise than they’ve recently been getting, but this track just really works. About two minutes into the song it goes to this crazy organ. Normally I would mix it out around then, although since it’s halloween you can probably keep it going. Also, this Outhere Brothers remix is creepy/good too.
Crookers - Sveglia (OH SNAP BOOTY ALARM REMIX)
Outhere Brothers - Enjoy (Crookers Edit)
Another top track this Halloween would be by Designer Drugs. Feeling the really creepy synth parts in this.

I’ve been listening to a lot more progressive house lately. Came across this one the other day off Beatport top 100. I think it’s the build up of it all that gets me. It’s by Daniel Portman and remixed by Helvetic nerds. A 7 minute masterpiece of ups and downs.
Daniel Portman - Costa Brava (Helvetic Nerds Remix)
Here’s something a little more electro house for you guys. I’ve always been a fan of Herve, and I highly suggest you check them out. The first one is really happy and goes right into a tight bassline mix of success.
Kidda - Under the Sun (Herve Remix)
This is a lot harder than the first. I had to edit a few parts out for when I play it, but here’s the original. Still a really good track nonetheless.
Dune - Bloodlines (Herve Loves Messed Up Remix)
I’ve been so busy lately with college apps and finishing my portfolio that I haven’t had too much free time. I should be done with all very soon, so get ready for some more..

AutoErotique, otherwise known as VND/LSM, just put out a few new tracks. They have really changed for the better and sound a lot more mature than before. All I can say is the buildup throughout this track is intense. Definitely feeling it.
(taken down by request)AutoErotique - Gladiator
On other note, deadmau5 is doing it right. I saw him at Ultra last year and was really impressed with his set. He’s blown up even more since then. I know this might seem a little old to some of you, but I still had to post the House of Pain remix he did. You can’t go wrong with it. The second one is a more of a deep house track. Gotta love the speech at end.
House of Pain vs Micky Slim - Jump Around (deadmau5 remix)
Deadmau5 - Ghosts and Stuff
Deadmau5 - The Reward is Cheese

This Belgium duo are always coming out with something good. You might have heard them on their other monikers: 2 many dj’s and Flying Dewaele Brothers.
SOULWAX VS. ROLLING STONES - You Can’t Always Get What You Want

Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot by DJ Barletta. Lots of energy in these. Be sure to check him out.
Lady GaGa - Just Dance (DJ Barletta Crunk Remix)
Crookers - Burritos and Buenos (DJ Barletta Refix)

Here’s a little mix I did recently. Just a teaser for the full length mix tape/demo i’m working on. Tonight I’ll be playing at an event for my top friends birthday, pictures to come.
Chromeo - Chrome Knight (MOHAWKIN’ Highlife Minimix)
As much as I didn’t like it when Kanye remixed this song, this is kind of funny.
